Community Voices is a people-centered storytelling program by Coastal News TV, created to hear directly from residents, youths, market people, professionals, students, community leaders, business owners, families, and everyday people across Southern Ondo.
From Okitipupa to Irele, Ilaje, Ese-Odo, Odigbo, Igbotako, Ilutitun, Igbokoda, Apoi, Ore, and surrounding communities, Community Voices brings real community perspectives to the screen.
This program is about listening.
It is about representation.
It is about dignity.
It is about giving ordinary people a respectful platform to speak.
Community Voices is not for gossip, insults, reckless allegations, public embarrassment, political abuse, or careless street talk. It is a responsible community media program designed to capture the concerns, hopes, opinions, achievements, culture, and everyday realities of Southern Ondo people.
About the Program
Community Voices is one of the flagship programs of Coastal News TV.
The program features short interviews, community reactions, street conversations, youth perspectives, market voices, event reactions, cultural reflections, and local stories from across Southern Ondo communities.
Through Community Voices, Coastal News TV creates a bridge between the newsroom and the people. Instead of only reporting about communities, we also allow communities to speak for themselves in a respectful and organized way.
Our goal is to make sure that the voices of our people are heard, documented, and represented with care.

Community Voices Fellowship
Community Voices is also connected to the Coastal News TV Community Voices Fellowship, a practical media training and field storytelling initiative designed to train young people across Southern Ondo communities.
Through the fellowship, selected participants will learn:

The fellowship is part of Coastal News TV’s commitment to not only give Southern Ondo a voice, but also train the next generation of Southern Ondo digital media talents.
Community Cluster Model
Community Voices will operate through a strategic cluster model across Southern Ondo.
Instead of appointing one person in every town from the beginning, Coastal News TV will gradually build a network of trained contributors, fellows, and community correspondents across key Southern Ondo clusters.

Okitipupa Axis
Okitipupa, Igbotako, Ikoya, Ilutitun, Iju-Odo, Erekiti, Omotosho, Aye, and surrounding communities.
Irele Axis
Irele, Ode-Irele, Ajagba, Akotogbo, and surrounding communities.
Ilaje Axis
Igbokoda, Ugbo, Mahin, Aheri, coastal communities, riverine communities, and other Ilaje communities.
Ese-Odo / Apoi Axis
Apoi communities, Ese-Odo communities, riverine settlements, and nearby communities.
Odigbo / Ore Axis
Odigbo, Ore, Oniparaga, Araromi-Obu, and surrounding communities.
